GREATER VALLEY AREA — There will be several closures on Thursday due to continuing winter weather conditions.

A message went out Wednesday afternoon telling residents that all Chambers and Lee County Schools will be closed Thursday. Also closed Thursday will be the West Point campus for Point University.

City officials for Valley, Lanett and West Point have confirmed that government buildings will open around noon Thursday.
