Private family services will be held at a later date.

LANETT — Mr. Jesse Merle Speaks, 82, of Lanett died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.

Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Lanett First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.

DADEVILLE — Mrs. Carrietta Turner, 73, of Dadeville died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at Baskins Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Dadeville at 1 p.m. CDT Wednesday, Oct. 10 with the Rev. Leon Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
