VALLEY — Mrs. Virginia C. White Laster, 86, of Valley died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Lanett.

Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. at Shawmut United Methodist Church in Valley with the Revs. Donnie Erwin-Brown and Mark McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

LANETT — Mrs. Christine Sims, 86, of Lanett, formerly of Shiloh, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at her residence.

Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. CST at Shiloh Baptist Church of LaFayette with the Rev. Floyd Aikens officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
