VALLEY — Mr. Johnnie B. Owens of Valley died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.

The celebration of life service is planned for Friday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, East 10th St. in West Point, with Dr. W. T. Edmondson officiating. Burial will follow at Marseilles Cemetery.

LANETT — Mr. Gerry “Frog” Whaley, 67, of Lanett, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Bethany House in Auburn.

Funeral services for Mr. Whaley will be held Friday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at the graveside at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett with Chaplain Walter J. Turner officiating.
