Sheriff’s Office reports
LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office,
Jonrikus Washington, 30, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court (FTA) to face child support charges;
Marco Story, 39, of Opelika has been charged with failure to pay (FTP) for driving without a license;
Kelson James, 29, of Valley has been charged with FTA – speeding.
There were 133 inmates in the Chambers County jail this morning.
Lanett reports
LANETT — One arrest took place in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports.
Jonrikus Washington, 30, has charged with bail jumping, reckless endangerment and attempting to elude a police officer.
Lanett police officers are investigating incidents of domestic violence, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, reported on the 300 block of South 1st Avenue; burglary, third, and theft of property, third, reported on the 500 block of South 1st Avenue and domestic violence, third, and criminal mischief, third, reported on the 1800 block of 18th Street SW.
Valley reports
VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Thursday, According to Valley Police Department reports, Phillp Anthony Caldwell, 66, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, third degree.
Incidents reported in Valley on Thursday include theft of property, third, on the 3000 block of 20th Avenue; theft of property, second, on the 1800 block of 26th Street; burglary, third, and theft of property, second, on the 1900 block of 53rd Street and theft of property, fourth, on the 3400 block of 20th Avenue.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating two incidents that were reported on Thursday. According to WPPD reports, a theft was reported on East 10th Street and burglary on East 9th Street.
