VALLEY — Mr. Bennie E. Henry, 84, of Valley, Ala. died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Bethany House in Auburn, Ala. He was a native of the Ridge Grove community and a member of the St. John United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at the Sardis United Methodist Church in Lanett at 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 with the Rev. Sam Marshall Jr., the Rev. Karanja Story and the Rev. Tommy Finlay officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Bennie leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Jenell Walker; a sister, Margaret Henry; brothers-in-law Mack Marshall, Elijah Marshall and Gus Marshall; sisters-in-law Willie Mae Frazier and Annie McCoy; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Henry.

Visitation will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Foreman Funeral Home in Valley.
