Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday. According to reports:

Galvin Traylor, 39, of LaFayette has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

Robert Threadgill, unknown address, has been charged with violating the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act and resisting arrest.

Stephanie Nash, 34, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay (FTP) on a negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument (bad check) charge.

Charles Starling, 42, of Salem, Ala. has been charged with FTP – child support.

There were 146 inmates in the Chambers County jail this morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Jesse Adam Kirby, 22, has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

Kathy Gaines, 35, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

Shelnequa Swanae Jones has been charged with bail jumpiing, second degree.

In incidents reported on Wednesday, VPD officers are investigating theft of property, third, on the 1800 block of 46th Street and theft of property, fourth, on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Two arrests took place in Lanett on Wednesday. According to reports,

Corey Jaquavious Roberts, 27, of Opelika has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cordarryl Rodravis Hill, 29, of Opelika has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

In incidents reported on Wednesday, identity theft was reported on the 2500 block of 28th Avenue SW and domestic violence, third, on the 2400 block of 24th Street SW.
