VALLEY — Mr. Paul Newton, a resident of Valley, Ala., died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, in Diversicare of Lanett Healthcare Facility.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at noon from Friendship Baptist Church, Valley, Ala., Rev. L. C. Thomas, Pastor, Rev J D Darden, Officiant and Rev. David L. Core, Sr., Eulogist.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Valley, AL.

Public Viewing was scheduled for Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary.

His survivors include:  his devoted daughter, Kristy Young; grandchildren, Jameria Davis and Kenya Owens; a devoted sister-in-law, Minnie Newton; a loving brother-in-law, Herman Snellings III; devoted nephew, Amos (Bridget) Newton; loving niece, Helen (James)Gray; nieces and nephews, Christine Hill, Ervin Newton, Jr., Betty Winston, John Newton, Danny Brown, Rev.
