VALLEY — Angela Gooden Sharpe was born Dec. 1, 1964, in Valley, Ala. She passed away on Feb. 14, 2018, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Liza Gooden.

Angela is survived by her father, James Lee Wright (Mary L. Wright), her stepfather Lewis Washington, her children MaRanda Gooden (Valley), Tonarius Gooden (Huntsville, Ala.), Zatania Gooden (Lanett, Ala.), and ShaRoskey Williams (Little Rock, Ark.). She has 5 grandchildren, 16 striblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, Eagles Nest Cathedral in West Point, Ga., at 2 p.m. EST. The family is receiving visitors at 10-Boyd Circle Valley, Ala.
