MRS. BETTY R. CURLEE

WEST POINT — Mrs. Betty R. Curlee, 87, of West Point, Ga. passed away January 29, 2018 in Columbus, Ga.

Memorial services are planned for 3 p.m. EST, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of West Point with the Rev. John Mattox officiating. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. EST  in the Zachry Center.

Mrs. Curlee is survived her son, Mark C. Curlee (Johnny Booker) of Lanett, Ala.; her daughter, Carol (Mark) Stillwell of Salem, Ala.; her grandson, Jesse Stillwell of Salem, Ala.; her two sisters, Marsha Spears and Diane Sanders, both of Valley, Ala.; her brother-in-law, Jim Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Curlee.

Mrs. Curlee was born September 20, 1930 and was the daughter of the late James Henry and Sally Lee Raye of Lanett. She graduated from West Point High School and attended Jacksonville State College.

She was employed at Valley Hospital, West Point, Ga., for 18 years and was a homemaker. She was an active member of the West Point United Methodist Church and several civic and social organizations.
