VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. Whitney Elizabeth Young, 35, of Opelika has been charged with theft of property, first degree, and Jeronta Dashun Bailey, 27, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

An incident of the fraudulent use of a credit/debit card allegedly taking place on the 200 block of Glass Road was reported on Tuesday.

LANETT reports

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Ronnie Lee Davis, 52, of Lanett has been charged with cruelty to animals, first degree, and

Christopher Brandon Washburn, 25, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card was reported on the 4700 block of 27th Street SW, and assault, third degree, was reported on the 1500 block of 27th Street SW.

WEST POINT reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating an incident of criminal damage to property that was reported on O.G. Skinner Drive on Tuesday.
