LANETT — Seven people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Jimmy Lewis Carlisle, 37, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer;

Cody Dale Kirkland, 26, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges;

Scotty Reed, 42, of Lanett has been charged with loitering;

Tatyanna Artenikoquenta St. George, 24, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

William Christopher Walker, 31, of Lanett has been charged with four counts of FTA – traffic;

Denise Lasha Bonner, 47, of Valley has been charged with driving under the influence (alcohol) and resisting arrest;

Justin Marrell Foster, 22, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, attempting to elude a police officer and two counts FTA.

VALLEY reports

VALLEY — Six people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Jeronta Dashun Bailey, 27, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Whitney Elizabeth Young, 35, of Opelika has been charged with theft of property, first degree;

Alexis Self, 19, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

Zane Huddleston, 36, of Valley has been charged with harassing communications;

Justin Foster, 22, of Lanett has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree;

Lexus Nichole Burrows, 20, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley police officers, the fraudulent use of a credit/debit card was reported on the 200 block of Glass Road; domestic violence, second degree (strangulation), and making terroristic threats was reported on the 2500 block of 64th Boulevard and theft of property, third degree, and the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of Lake Placid Loop.
