MS. ALLISON VINES

AUBURN, Ala. — Ms. Allison Vines, 45, of Auburn (formerly of Camp Hill) died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at New Canaan Baptist Church, Camp Hill, on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at noon CST with Rev. C. L. Daniel officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Visitation with the family will be at Vines Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5 p.m. till 6 p.m. CST.

Allison was born April 27, 1972 in Tallapoosa County to Ruth Vines and the late Crate Vines. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church and served as a member of the Junior Choir and Pastor’s Aide Committee. She graduated from Edward Bell High School in 1990 and attended Alexander City Junior College, now called Central Alabama Community College.

After college, Allison worked several jobs and later accepted employment with Thermo-Fisher Scientific Inc, Auburn, Ala. She was employed with ThermoFisher for over ten years. Allison was a very loving and giving individual. She loved shopping and had a special eye for fashion. She could put things together and make them work. She was also very photogenic and loved taking pictures to create memories with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Ruth Vines, Camp Hill; two sisters: Lisa Mackey of Auburn and Virginia (Rickey)  Copeland, Biddeford, ME; one brother: Jerry Lewis Copeland, Baton Rouge, LA; eight aunts, two uncles, two nephews: Antjuan and Dustin and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
