LANETT reports

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Ayesha Goggins, 23, of Lanett has been charged with giving false identification to a law enforcement officer;

Elizabeth Hornsby, 18, of Valley has been charged with receiving stolen property, first degree, and bail jumping, second degree;

Xandon Taylor, 24, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges;

Anthony Bailey, 45, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping;

Alan Carr, 43, of Valley has also been charged with bail jumping.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, someone making terroristic threats was reported on the 1900 block of South Broad Avenue; theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 2500 block of 54th Avenue SW; receiving stolen property, first degree, was reported on the 1200 block of East 3rd Avenue; harassment was reported on the 800 block of North 10th Street, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of North 2nd Circle.

VALLEY REPORTS

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to a Valley Police Department report,

Alan Carr, 42, of Valley has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of lost property, fourth degree, was reported on 20th Avenue, and theft of property, fourth degree, and trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 4500 block of Fairfax Bypass.

WEST POINT reports

WEST POINT — Three people were arrested in West Point on Tuesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Tito Donta Johnson of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with driving with a suspended license;

Brittany Charvon Russell of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with a probation violation, and

Richard Erwin Johnson of West Point has been charged with domestic violence – battery.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, criminal trespass was reported on Highland Drive.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORTS

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to a Chambers County Sheriff’s Office report.

Mike Cole, 52, of LaFayette has been charged on grand jury indictments for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and for having a pistol without a permit.

There were 181 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Wednesday morning.
