SHERIFF’S OFFICE reports

LaFAYETTE — Eight people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to CCSO reports:

Cedric Ricks, 53, of Opelika has been charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Kenneth Cooper, 49, of Valley has been charged with four counts of violating a court order.

Travis Crumedy, 26, of Atlanta, Ga. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

Brandon Casey, 35, of Slidell, La. has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of brass knuckles, carrying a pistol without a permit and altering the manufacturer’s numbers on a firearm.

James Norred, 50, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

Jerome Ballard, 37, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

Micah Miles, 24, of Five Points, Ala. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

Willis Quick, 45, of Greer, S.C. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.

LANETT reports

LANETT — Eight people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports:

Jasper Irvin Berry, 23, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and failure to appear in court to answer two counts of reckless endangerment, attempting to elude a police officer, no driver’s license and criminal trespass, first degree.

Maurice L. Fears, 21, of Columbus, Ga. has been charged with loitering and attempting to elude a police officer.

Jasmine Shakia Huguley, 22, of LaFayette, Ala. has been charged with disorderly conduct.

Germayer Jermaine Wallace, 33, of Lanett has been charged with driving under the influence – alcohol.

Jeremy Martinez Spradlin, 33, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay – criminal trespass, second degree.

Michael Kyle Mitchell, 36, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with FTA – loitering, FTA – possession of burglar’s tools, FTA – possession of a controlled substance and FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia.

Landon Heard Johnson, 21, of Valley has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Adrian Roderick Davis, 26, of Lanett has been charged with FTP – driving with a revoked license.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers:

Criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1000 block of County Road 454.

Criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 800 block of North 13th Street.

Criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of South Gilmer Avenue.

Criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 3000 block of 48th Avenue SW.

Burglary, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Avenue.

VALLEY reports

VALLEY — Six people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports:

Calvin Jermaine Dooley, 47. of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, physical harassment.

Christopher O’Neal Madden, 49, of LaGrange has been charged with DUI – alcohol.

Cody James Glover, 22, of Valley has been charged with falsely reporting an incident.

Shayonte Shantoria Johnson, 28, of Valley has been charged with two counts of FTA – traffic.

Symira Samone Woody, 23, of LaFayette has been charged with harassing communications.

Timothy Brooks, 32, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1500 block of 56th Street; domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 200 block of Peterson Street; harassing communications was reported on the 1000 block of County Road 539, and harassment reported on the 7000 block of 20th Avenue.

WEST POINT reports

WEST POINT — Three people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports:

Shawhitney Nicole Johnson, 24, 8420613 North 14th Ct. Lanett AL, Driving on suspended/revoked license, Driving motor vehicle on suspended/canceled/revoked registration, Fail to maintain minimum insurance, alteration of license plate, Bond $0, In jail.

Kyeron Karrell Crim, 32, 408 E. 8th St., West Point, Operating vehicle without drivers license, Bond $1,000, Bonded out.

William Toll Young, 56, 2004 County Rd. 500, Valley AL, Theft by shoplifting $500 or less, Bond $1,000, in jail.
