SHERIFF’S OFFICE reports
LaFAYETTE — Nine people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Donshell Askew, 49, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of reckless endangerment;
Davonte Spence, 24, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay for driving with a suspended license;
Kennedy Briskey, 53, of LaFayette has been charged with public intoxication;
Jason Spears, 39, of Lanett has been charged with FTP – child support;
Robert Williams, 31, of Valley has been charged with FTP – operating a vehicle with no insurance;
Roosevelt Mackey, 28, of LaFayette has been charged with two counts of failure to pay child support, probation violation and the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance;
Trenton Hill, 22, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with a probation violation;
Nicklaus Blanton, 36, of Valley has been charged with false reporting, and
Gregory Caldwell, 59, of LaFayette has been charged with a probation violation.
LANETT reports
LANETT — Eleven people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Richard Bailey, 46, of Lanett was charged with theft of property, fourth degree;
Jimmy Howard Bradford Jr., 49, of Enigma, Ga. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;
Ricky Denoy Tucker, 45, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and obstructing a governmental operation;
Billy Tyrone Dunn, 58, of Lanett has been charged with assault, third degree;
Brian Michael Spears, 35, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay;
Jason Ray Spears, 39, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear;
Prentis Malik Williams, 19, of Lanett has been charged with obstructing a governmental operation;
Donshell Askew, 49, of Lanett has been charged with harassing communications;
Bryan Jacob McMakin, 21, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, attempting to elude a police officer and resisting arrest;
Anna Elizabeth Johnson, 30, of Valley has been charged with giving a false name to a law enforcement officer, and
Jesse Lamar Garner, 25, of Lanett has been charged with giving a false name to a law enforcement officer.
In incidents being investigated by the Lanett Police Department, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 800 block of 20th Street SW; theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue; theft of property, third degree, reported on the 300 block of South 7th Avenue, and domestic violence, third degree, resisting arrest and attempting to elude a police officer reported on the 1800 block of 35th Avenue SW.
VALLEY reports
VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Billy Jack Jordan, 28, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree, and resisting arrest, and
Benjamin Hunter Edge, 18, of Valley has been charged with public lewdness.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, harassing communications was reported on the 100 block of Jefferson Street and identity theft reported on the 6800 block of 20th Avenue.
WEST POINT reports
WEST POINT – One person was arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Shaquille D. Heard of West Point has been charged with marijuana possession.
