Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Seven people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Jacalvious Ricks, 31, of Valley has been charged with three counts of failure to appear in court to answer child support charges;

Larry Avery, 53, of Lanett has been charged with two counts of FTA – attempting to elude, FTA – resisting arrest, FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts FTA – DUI, two counts FTA – felony DUI, FTA – leaving the scene of an accident with an injury, FTA – driving with a revoked license, and FTA – operating a vehicle without insurance;

Dameon Story, 35, of Valley has been charged with FTA – driving with a suspended license and the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance;

Bryan Walton, 22, of Lanett has been charged with probation revocation;

Timothy Anderson, 28, of Tuskegee, Ala. has been charged with FTA – drug court;

Jasmine Linson, 29, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with FTA – speeding, and

Walter Preston, 56, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with FTA – expired tag.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Six people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Amber Nicole Lott, 31, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay on a charge of theft of property, third degree;

Kenneth Wayne Elliott, 29, of Valley has been charged with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle;

Jeffrey Keith White, 46, of Lanett has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer;

Larry Avery, 52, of Five Points, Ala. has been charged with FTP – DUI;

Ashley Nicole Gregory, 33, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and resisting arrest, and

Jacalvious Marques Ricks, 31, of Valley has been charged with FTP – giving a false name.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 4200 block of South Phillips Road; domestic violence, third degree, reported on the 5400 block of 16th Street SW, and theft of property, first degree, reported on the 4200 block of South Phillips Road.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley on Monday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Timothy Anderson, 29, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with four counts of bail jumping, second degree, and two counts of FTA – traffic;

Kenneth Wayne Elliott, 29, of Valley has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Timothy Mitchell Thompson, 28, of Valley has been charged with FTA – traffic.

Jacalvious Marquez Ricks, 31, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property, third degree, has been reported on the 3600 block of 55th Street; theft of property, fourth degree, has been reported on the 1700 block of 43rd Street; domestic violence, third degree (harassment), has been reported on the 700 block of Lake Placid Loop; harassment has been reported on the 300 block of Middle Street, and theft by deception, fourth degree, has been reported on the 4500 block of Fairfax Bypass.

WEST POINT — Incidents of harassing phone calls and theft by taking
on Davidson Street have been reported to the West Point Police Department.
