VALLEY — A memorial service for Mr. Charles Tony Sims, 53, of Alexander City, will be at Johnson Brown Funeral Home in Valley Alabama on Friday April 6 at 4 p.m. EDT. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Sims passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at UAB Hospital.  He was born on October 25, 1964 in Valley, Alabama to Charles V. Sims ( Jr.) and Jeanne M. Johnson.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was always happy and full of life.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanne M. Johnson of Alexander City; sons, Charles Cody (Ashley) Sims of Valley, Patrick L. Sims of Valley; sister, Johnette Sims (Mark) Lamborne of Alexander City; grandchildren, Charles Landen Sims and Kyleigh Morgan; nephews, Brady (Abbie) Lamborne and Wesley Lamborne; great-nephew, Hudson Lamborne, and a special brother, Danny Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles V. Sims, Jr.
