DADEVILLE, Ala. — Mr. Henry Alvies, 78 of Dadeville, Ala. passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, 2 p.m. CDT at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Dadeville,  Rev. William Perry, pastor, and Rev. G.H. Pulliam, eulogist, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lockhart Cemetery in Dadeville.

Mr. Alvies is survived by his wife, Eva Mae Alvies; his five loving children, Freddie Bailey, Rodney (Tracie) Alvies, LuCrestia Lewis, Susie Alvies and  Carolyn Alvies; one sister, Mary Cole of Bronx N.Y.; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
