PENSACOLA, Fla. — Mr. Howard S. Noel, 76, a resident of Pensacola, Fla. for the last 43 years, passed away on April 6, 2018 at Baptist Hospital.

“Steve” was born in West Point, Ga. to Howard and Mazel Noel and was raised in nearby Langdale, Ala.. He graduated from Valley High School and served five years in the United States Air Force.

He retired from the IBM Corporation after 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, and gardening. He was very loving, generous, and enjoyed helping others.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild, Hope. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose Patronas Noel; children, Holly and Scott; grandchildren, Collin, Jaylin, and Katherine; a sister, Judy Noel Bledsoe of Valley, Ala.; six brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
