VALLEY — Ms. JoAnne Mizelle Bradford, 77, of Valley, Ala. passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the LaFayette Extended Care in LaFayette, Ala.

Ms. Bradford was born in Eufaula, Ala. on October 20, 1940 to the late J.T. Mizelle, Jr. and Annie Britt Stokes Mizelle.

She was a graduate of West Point High School Class of 1959.

She was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Ms. Bradford loved to dance and loved her pet dogs.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Jeff) Davis, Thomas (Susan Wood) Bradford, Cyndi Brown; grandchildren, Brandi (James) Burrows, Heather (Tyron) Smith, Hannah Bradford, Russell Bradford, Jeremy Parker, Dakota Parker; six great-grandchildren, Lexus Burrows, Bubba Burrows, Alyssa Burrows, Garrett Burrows, Landon Smith, and Addi Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2 p.m. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel with interment in Marseilles Cemetery.  The Rev. Mark McGee will officiate. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. EDT until 8 p.m. EDT.

Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests that memorials be made in her memory to the Chattahoochee Hospice program.
