LANETT — Ms. Alesia Chambers Willis, 52, of Lanett, Ala. passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 2, 2018, 1 p.m. EDT at Rehobeth Missionary Baptist Church in Valley, Ala. with the Rev. Karanja Story, pastor,  and Calvin Daniel, eulogist, officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett.

Ms. Willis is survived by a daughter,  Shamereal (Valintez) Edmonson of Lanett and a son, Timothy (Kyla) Chambers of Florence, Ala.; four sisters, Mary (Eugene) Watson of Lanett, Shirlen Finley and Geraldine Chambers, both of Mobile, Ala. and Virie (Rudolph) Walton of Savannah, Ga.; a brother, Marcus (Carla) Chambers of Bessemer, Ala.; four grandchildren; a special friend, Dennis Melton, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
