LANETT — The Lanett Police Department had a very busy weekend with 15 arrests taking place. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Octavious Kantrell Dunn, 34, of Valley has been charged with driving under the influence – alcohol;

Travis Miles Crawford, 47, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Heather Victoria Hyche, 31, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Victoria Yvonne Clark, 30, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Sherrie Sherree Williams, 42, of Lanett has been charged with public intoxication;

Cosamarie Domango Lewis Dawson, 44, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay’

Christopher Franklin Varner, 51, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay;

Amos Jermaine Bledsoe, 35, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court;

Megazillian Meliendo Woody, 35, of Valley has been charged with two counts of harassing communications;

Harris Trevor Wood, 25, of Wedowee, Ala. has been charged with public intoxication.

Deondus Lamar Rowland, 30, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with harassing communications and using false identify to obstruct justice;

Curtis Bernard Martin, 54, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

Demarco Kyeun Patton, 37, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Christopher Morris Lynch, 34, of Lanett has been charged with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and escape, third degree, and

Brandon Wayne Hoyle, 28, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal possession of a forged instrument, second degree, and theft of property, third degree, were reported on the 1300 block of South Gilmer Avenue; domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 6400 block of 16th Street SW; domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Court; criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 5400 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway; theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1000 block of South 13th Avenue; domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of 15th Place SW: identity theft was reported on the 2600 block of 41st Avenue SW; domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 100 block of South 3rd Avenue; the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Street; reckless driving was reported on the 1600 block of 44th Avenue SW, and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 5200 block of 33rd Street SW.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Nine people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Jessica Short, 26, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance;

Cosamarie Dawson, 44, of Lanett has been charged with four counts of FTA – child support;

Thewood Dunn, 35, of Lanett has been charged with FTP – domestic violence, third degree;

Donkorski Brooks, 23, of Valley has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance;

Megazillian Woody, 35, of Valley has been charged with FTA – child support;

Amos Woody, 35, of Valley has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, FTA – the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, FTA – the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, FTA – possession of marijuana, second degree, and FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia;

Kelvoski Marbury, 26, of Lanett has been charged with attempting to elude law enforcement and possession of marijuana, second degree;

Christopher Varner, 51, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and

Torslanda Menefield, 39, of Lanett has been charged with certain person forbidden to possess a pistol.

VALLEY reports

VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Donavan Lewis, 33, of Valley has been charged with public intoxication;

Megazillian Woody, 35, of Valley has been charged with attempting to elude;

Curtis Lee Reed, 54, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and

a 16-year-old juvenile has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, physical harassment was reported on the 500 block of
Sydney Street, and domestic violence reported on the 2500 block of 64th Boulevard.
