LANETT — Seven people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Raigahn Twana Lashae Stiggers, 21, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a forged instrument, third degree, and theft of property, third degree;

TyMichael Antonio Mitchell, 27, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay;

Christopher Stephen Abney, 47, of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation;

Jonathan Desmond Vinley Tomlin, 39, of Five Points, Ala. has been charged with a probation violation.

Mandie C. Smith, 42, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia;

Brandon Jarrod Cobb, 29, of Auburn, Ala. has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court to answer traffic charges, and

Ashleigh Robin McCoy, 38, of Gardendale, Ala. has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment and disorderly conduct were reported on the 1300 block of South 8th Avenue; criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 1600 block of 23rd Avenue SW; criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 5000 block of 38th Street SW; theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1900 block of 23rd Avenue SW.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Zaquarria Yarbrough, 25, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

Brianna N. Poole, 22, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and

Regina Moore, 39, of Valley has been charged with allowing dogs to run at large.

In incidents being investigated by Valley police officers, theft of property, third degree, and the fraudulent use of a debit card was reported on the 100 block of Kelly Lane; harassing communications was reported on the 2800 block of 20th Avenue; theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2600 block of 18th Place; theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue; criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on 1200 block of 20th Avenue; criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1200 block of 30th Street, and harassment was reported on the 200 block of 61st Street.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Montavious Demetrel Dawson, 19, of Opelika has been charged with carrying a pistol without a permit;

Robert Shaw, 48, of Atlanta has been charged with FTA – possession of a controlled substance and FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia, and

Bobbie Jo Finley, 49, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

There were 157 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Kevin Bell of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with a probation violation.

In incidents being investigated by West Point police officers, a hit and run was reported on West 10th Street.
