Race Tillery, 12th grade, son of Mark and Christi Tillery of Valley;

Held at Evangel Temple, the event started off with the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag, the Christian Flag and the Bible.

This was followed with a prayer by Bryant, who thanked God for the blessings bestowed upon the students and parents.

A highlight film of the graduates was then shown, accompanied by the song “Don’t Stop Believin’” by the Journey.

Next, a number of songs were sung by students, who danced along to “Happy and You Know It” and “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.”

Bryant then returned to the stage to present Scripture Trophies and awards for highest GPA to a number of students.

This was followed by senior speeches.

The seniors thanked everyone for coming out and for helping them reach this milestone.

Bryant then got up to address the graduates.

He brought up the Star Wars film series and how the main theme running throughout dealt with the fight between light and darkness and good versus evil.

“Some people choose good, some bad,” he said.

“You can be whatever you want but you must choose.”

Bryant then presented diplomas. All graduates were ecstatic as Bryant handed them their diploma and moved their tassle from right to left.

“I’m happy,” said Baylee Bryant after the ceremony, “but it’s also a little bittersweet.”
