Lanett Reports

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Xavious Holloway, 19, of Lanett has been charged with criminal mischief and attempting to elude a police officer;

Tenjenio Demontue Sharpe, 37, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court;

Stanley Lewis Ridgeway, 24, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, using a false identify to obstruct justice, resisting arrest, and escape, third degree;

Tansy Dunn Weldon, 40, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Kevin Ryan Abercrombie, 29, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1000 block of South Gilmer Avenue, domestic violence, first degree, and domestic violence, third degree, were reported on the 100 block of South 14th Avenue, harassing communications was reported on the 2100 block of South Broad Avenue, and the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 1400 block of South 8th Avenue.

Sheriff’s Office Reports

LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Curteze Avery, 24, of LaFayette has been charged with a probation violation;

Michael McClelland, 35, of Valley has been charged with FTA – burglary, first degree, FTA – kidnapping, second degree, domestic violence – strangulaton/suffocation and violation of protection from abuse order.

Valley Reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Joseph Montrez Cammon, 20, of Valley has been charged with being a fugitive from justice, and

Stanley Lewis Ridgeway, 24, of Valley has been charged with four counts of FTA – traffic.

West Point Reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Tuesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Candace Brock, 24, of LaGrange has been charged with shoplifting.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, criminal trespassing was reported on
East 12th Street and simple battery was reported on East 14th Street.
