Hello Huguley! Did summer find you this past week? It found us a couple of times this week. Even stuck in an air conditioned office all day Tuesday I found the heat after I got off work.

The home of Raymond Alexander had a giant birthday cookout bash on Memorial Day weekend for two of their sons. Rodney Alexander and Jodi Alexander were both born on May 30, 1966 and 1967. The group grilled chicken, had corn on the cob, Coleslaw, baked beans, watermelon, ice cream, and Boston butt! My goodness they put on a spread!

Those attending were Raymond and Sandra Alexander, Sandy and Luke kite, Rodney and Beth Alexander, Jodi Alexander, Sarah Alexander, Justin, Ashley, Gunner, Wayland Alexander, Christopher Alexander, Shelly Daughtery Jayden Berry, Romie Alexander, Jeremiah, Amber, Zeke and Izzy Goden. Priscilla Holloway, Franklin Alexander, Billy Ray, Celia Pollard. They all had a great time. The kids played in the rain so it just made a good time for everybody.

By the way if anybody happens to be in the market for a beautiful English Bulldog/American English bulldog that needs to be rehomed. She’s a really sweet dog and it’s good with other dogs too. They’ve just got more dogs than they need. They are asking a rehoming fee of $50. She is six months old and can still be trained. Her name is Bella and she is up-to-date on all of her shots. If you are interested in adding this dog to your family please contact me at 7:06 773 6550 and I will put you in touch with the Alexander family. We had the chance to meet her and she really is a friendly dog.

I want to tell you about a special trip that the Adult 2 Sunday school class from Happy Valley Baptist made last Sunday morning. We loaded up our entire class in the church van and cars and headed to the home of Rufus and Carolyn Lynch.

They have been absent for such a long time due to Mr. Rufus having some health issues. It wasn’t a surprise visit because they knew we were coming. Tedric called our Sunday school teacher our lesson from there. We visited and had a little snack Fellowship after the Sunday school hour.

It was a really great time for everybody those attending were Jeanette Tilley, Susan and Willard Eason, June White, William Bailey, Jack and Sue Nolan, James and Levonia Looney, Linette Adams, Pearl Taunton, Faye Tines, Billy Wood, Tedric Colley also Carolyn and Rufus Lynch and Clessa Hill.
