VALLEY — James Randall Rogers, 83, was born to Owen and Georgia Rogers on June 18, 1934 in Shawmut, AL (Valley) and passed away in Montgomery, AL on March 8, 2018. He retired as a MSgt from the United States Air Force and retired from the Veteran’s Administration.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his son, Charles (Debbie) Rogers; daughter, Susan (John) Traum; grandchildren, Brittany (Mike) Watts, Leah (Mitch) Kavanagh, Cody Paul, Jordan Rogers, and an honorary grandchild, Jackie Andersen; and one great-grandchild, McKenzie Watts; brother, Richard (Myra) Rogers; nephews, Ricky (Jenny) Rogers, Randy (Ann Moss) Rogers, Ronnie (Margie) Rogers, and Reid (Kim) Rogers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Shawmut (Valley) Kindergarten Building located at 3301 23rd Drive (behind Bob Harding-Shawmut Elementary School) at 2 p.m. EDT. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
