VALLEY — James R. “Mr. Jim” Presher, 71, of Valley, Ala. passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Jim will be missed by his wife, Carol; his dog, Tou; and his many friends and family at Roper Heights Baptist Church, Faith Evangelistic Church and Timeless Antiques.

Mr. Jim was born on February 27, 1947 in Barton, N.Y. He was a member of Roper Heights Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Timeless Antiques, along with his wife, Carol.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. EDT on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Roper Heights Baptist Church in West Point with the Rev. Eddie Striblin officiating. An informal fellowship will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mr. Jim’s memory to the Roper Heights Baptist Church, P.O. Box 533, West Point, GA 31833.
