LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office,

› David Lee Davis, 43, of Wedowee, Ala. has been charged with two counts of burglary, third degree, and two counts of theft of property, second degree, and

› Shawn Cornell Bellamy, 27, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay for driving without a license.

There were 157 inmates in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Shawn Cornell Bellamy, 27, of Opelika has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett police, burglary, third degree, and theft of property was reported on the 600 block of South 3rd Avenue, criminal mischief, third degree, and domestic violence, third degree, were reported on the 1200 block of North 12th Avenue, duty upon striking an unoccupied vehicle was reported on the 1200 block of North 12th Street, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1000 block of 31st Avenue SW and theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 200 block of South 2nd Avenue.

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Shyanne Van Houten, 19, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and

› Justin Kyle Bailey, 32, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 2100 block of 42nd Street, disorderly conduct was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue, a dog bite was reported on the 1200 block of County Road 271, and two incidents of theft of property, fourth degree, were reported on the 2000 block of Calgary Crescent Terrace.

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

› Frederick Cortez Copeland of West Point has been charged with simple battery.
