Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Kewana Dantay Banks, 35, of LaFayette has been charged with two counts of failure to appear in court to answer child support charges and charges of receiving stolen property, third degree;

› Benjamin Edward Striblin, 41, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – possession of a controlled substance;

› Michael Anthony Heard, 58, of Camp Hill, Ala. has been charged with public intoxication, and

› Josalyn Dandra Meadows, 25, of Lanett and been charged with FTA – burglary, first degree, and two counts FTA – assault, third degree.

A total of 163 inmates were in the Chambers County jail Wednesday morning.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Tracy Ray Myers, 39, of Weaver, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› Kewana Banks, 35, of LaFayette has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree;

› Benjamin Edward Striblin, 41, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and

› Antoneisha Shunbria James, 24, of Lanett has been charged with four counts of theft of property, fourth degree, two counts of the fraudulent use of a credit/debit card and theft of property, third degree.

Valley reports

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Janice Faye Chislom, 38, of LaFayette has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2100 block of Ben Brown Road, identity theft was reported on the 4000 block of County Road 388, theft of property, first degree, and criminal mischief, second degree, were reported on the 300 block of Highway 29 and theft of property, first degree, and burglary, third degree, were reported on the 1200 block of County Road 519.
