Lanett reports

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Clayton O’Brien Reesor, 26, of Lanet has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer and two counts of a probation violation;

› Troytavious Marquetta Demon Washington, 27, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› William Alexander Allen, 25, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic violation;

› Desmond Laron Flournoy, 37, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic, and

› Lamar Leon Taylor, 37, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with public intoxication and bail jumping.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 2300 block of South Broad Avenue, breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, third degree, were reported on the 500 block of North 16th Street, theft of lost property, third degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of North 12th Street and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 100 block of North Gilmer Avenue.

Sheriff reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Tommy Davis Burton, 54, of LaFayette has been charged with giving false information to a law enforcement officer;

› Clarence Everett Perkins, 36, of Five Points, Ala. has been charged with a probation violation;

› Clayton O’Brien Reesor, 26, of Lanett has been charged with violating the Sexual Offender Registration Notification Act and a probation violation, and

› Corbin Williams, 44, of Valley has been charged with negotiating worthless negotiable instruments (bad checks).

There were 161 inmates in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Melissa Huddleston, 41, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

› Min Park, 18, of Valley has been charged with permitting dogs to run at large, and

› Desmond Flournoy, 37, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett police, property damage was reported on the 4200 block of 21st Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 2800 block of 64th Boulevard and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 4500 block of Fairfax Bypass.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Officers with the West Point Police Department are investigating several criminal trespassing incidents that were reported on Thursday. They were reported on East 7th Street, West 9th Street, Floyd Street and Highway 18.
