LANETT — Eight people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Dennis Lyons, 53, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest;

› Tirrell Lakeith Woodson, 47, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› Ickjock Deon Taylor, 32, of Lanett has been charged with firearm license required;

› James Lamar Malone, 37, of Lanett has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer, bail jumping, second degree, and two counts FTA – traffic;

› Kelli Leann Hart, 34, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a controlled substance;

› Cason Lee Robertson, 41, of Lanett has been charged with being a fugitive from justice;

› Jesse Lamar Garner, 25, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

› Brenda Kay Kinney, 46, of Tallassee, Ala. has been charged with FTA – traffic.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett police, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1700 block of South Broad Avenue, harassment was reported on the 200 block of South 2nd Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 500 block of South 8th Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 5000 block of 21st Street SW, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, were reported on the 1200 block of County Road 452, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 600 block of Cherry Drive, criminal trespassing, first degree, was reported on the 1300 block of North 13th Avenue, duty upon striking a vehicle was reported in the 2000 block of 31st Street SW, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported in the 300 block of South 2nd Avenue, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 30 block of East 24th Street, harassment was reported on the 4000 block of Cusseta Road, theft of property, first degree, was reported in the 800 block of South 1st Avenue, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1300 block of North 13th Avenue, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 4300 block of Cusseta Road, the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 3000 block of County Road 289, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle was reported on the 4800 block of Cusseta Road, criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on the 2000 block of South 1st Avenue, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1200 block of North 13th Street, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of South 7th Avenue, harassment was reported on the 600 block of South 3rd Avenue, and breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 2300 block of 16th Court SW.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Twelve people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Christopher Farmer, 36, of Valley has been charged with two counts FTA – probation violation;

› Keith Ford, 54, of Mableton, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice;

› Tommy Crawford, 23, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct;

› Jesse Garner, 25, of Valley has been charged with a probation violation, trafficking methamphetamine, the unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance and the chemical endangerment of a child;

› Megan Smith, 25, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay – speeding;

› Corderro Williams, 31, of LaFayette has been charged with FTP – child support, FTA – burglary and FTA – theft of property, first degree;

› Steven Higgins, 48, of LaFayette has been charged with FTP – child support;

› Jaquavious Ross, 23, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – improper lane usage and FTA – driving while suspended;

› David Studdard, 35, of Franklin, Ga. has been charged with FTA – domestic violence (strangulation);

› Jerard Ware, 30, of LaFayette has been charged with FTP – speeding;

› Bryan McCormick, 43, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with a probation violation;

› Douglas Hall, 39, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and attempting to elude law enforcement.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Terrell Woodson, 47, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

› Cornelius Bradley, 32, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Four people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,

› Clayton Demario Beals of West Point has been charged with cruelty to children, second degree;

› Darius Raheem Williams of West Point has been charged with the obstruction of a police officer;

› Gregory Timothy Williams of West Point has been charged with the obstruction of a p0lice officer, and

Richard F. Reed Jr. of West Point has been charged with driving under the influence.
