LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Koree Summers, 27, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of possession of marijuana, first degree;

› Mario Bell, 35, of LaFayette has been charged with a probation violation;

› Kenneth Elliott Jr., 29, of Valley has been charged with FTA – possession of marijuana, second degree;

› Travis Patten, 31, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – child support, and

› Jason Spears, 40, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – child support.

There were 176 inmates in the Chambers County jail Wednesday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Six people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Dadrian Deise Baker, 34, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with criminal mischief, third degree;

› Francis Lynn Shumake, 36, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;

› Shannon Denise Johnson, 47, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

› Terry Don Gillis, 49, of Valley has been charged with obstructing a government operation;

› Tristian Scott Haynes, 43, of Lanett has been charged with driving under the influence;

› John Cody Laney, 28, of Valley has been charged with obstructing a government operation.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 4500 block of 55th Street and verbal harassment was reported on the 5500 block of 20th Avenue.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Crystal Lynn Boyett, 40, of Dothan, Ala. has been charged with a probation violation;

› Francis Lynn Shumake, 38, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› Jason Ray Spears, 39, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and FTA – traffic;

› Jacob Leland Antley, 19, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.

In incidents being investigated by the Lanett Police Department, identity theft was reported in the 110o block of 44th Avenue SW, and theft of services, fourth degree, was reported on the 5400 block of 33rd Street SW.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — An incident of criminal trespassing on Spruce Street was reported to the West Point Police Department on Tuesday.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in LaFayette on Tuesday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

› Travis Patten, 31, has been charged with failure to pay child support;

› James Whitlow, 53, has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and

› Dadrian Baker, 34, has been charged with criminal mischief, third degree.
