LANETT — Mr. Bruce Duffey, 72, of Lanett, Ala. died Sunday July 22, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Duffey was born in Chambers County on April 21,  1946 to the late Byron Lindsey Duffey and the late Debra Floy Lee Duffey. He attended the Sunset Heights Baptist Church in Lanett and had retired from Peabody Manufacturing. He had previously worked at Avondale Mills in LaFayette.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. CDT on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Visitation took place at Jeff Jones Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9 a.m. till 10:30 a.m., prior to the graveside service.

Mr. Duffey is survived by three children: Brenda (Steve) Booker of Lanett, Bobby Duffey and Terry Duffey, both of the Beulah community, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jeannette Duffey.
