LaFAYETTE — Mr. Roy Jackie Askew Wallace, 66, of LaFayette, Ala. passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018, 2 p.m. CDT at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Cusseta, Ala. with the Rev. Arthur Thomas, pastor; officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Claudia Wallace; a stepdaughter, Tara (Andrew) Vines; three stepsons, Paris (Nicole) Story, Corey James and Jeffery (Jennifer) James, all of LaFayette; seven sisters: Ida (Tobb) Hall of Cusseta; Wanda Davis, Shirley, Carrie Gilbert, Chrysanthemum (Robert) Walston, all of Cleveland, Ohio and Verdale of Opelika, Ala. and Dr. Flora of LaGrange, Ga.; one brother, David, Jr. (Leslie) Oliver, four grandchildren, two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
