DADEVILLE, Ala. — Mrs. Helen M. Canady, 76, of Dadeville, Ala. passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Lake Martin Community Hospital in Dadeville.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018, 11 a.m. CDT at Mt. Zion East Missionary Baptist Church in Dadeville with the Rev. Jimmy Thomas, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. MacArthur Moss serving as the eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Canady is survived by seven sons: Frankie Jones, Fredrick Moss, Timothy (Jodi) Canady, Harvey (Dorothy) Canady and Milford, Jr. (Myrtis) Canady,  all of Dadeville, Melvin Canady of Munich, Germany and Edward Russell of Opelika, Ala.; five daughters: Veleria Jones, Clarice Davis, Audrey Heard, Marie (Rev. MacArthur) Moss, all of Dadeville, and Nelba (Henry, Sr.) Crayton of Camp Hill;  two sisters, Nellie Bledsoe of Waverly, Ala.  and Otis Moss of Dadeville; one brother, Burl Jones of Huntsville, Ala.; two daughters-in-law, Mary Canady of Dadeville and Ida Canady of Tuskegee, Ala., thirty-seven grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
