Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’’s Office reports,

› Aubrey Cravez Ray, 28, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer child support charges;

› Ashley Nicole Jennings, 27, of Valley has been charged with FTA – driving with a suspended license;

› Phillips Lee Roberts, 34, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – no insurance;

› Lebryant Marquez Askew, 21, of Valley has been charged with failure to pay – driving suspended;

› Tony Dwight Billingsley, 43, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay – child support, and

› Gerald Ferguson, 45, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of FTA – unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

There were 180 inmates in the Chambers County jail Monday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Five people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Kenneth Wayne McVeigh, 43, of Phenix City, Ala. has been charged with giving false information to law enforcement;

› Thomas Randall Hunt, 29, of Valley has been charged with four counts of FTA – traffic;

› Misty Dawn Reach, 41, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

› Lebryant Askew, 21, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and giving a false name to law enforcement, and

› Vanequa Heflin, 26, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree, and criminal mischief was reported on the 2600 block of 19th Avenue, and two incidents of theft of property, fourth degree, were reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating an incident of theft by taking that was reported on East 10th Street over the weekend.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested  in LaFayette over the weekend. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

› Sidney Floyd, 25, has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree, and failure to pay, and

› Quamek Peay, 20, has been charged with failure to pay.
