Lanett reports

LANETT — Eight people have been arrested in Lanett over the past few days. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Annette Gibson, 64, of Lanett has been charged with harassment;

› Steven Jay Fulghum, 36, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping;

› Gartavis Roshade Jackson, 29, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› Justin Aubrey McKeehan, 27, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› Amia Shandel Jennings, 20, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges;

› Lacey White, 22, of West Point has been charged with FTA – traffic;

› Ashleigh Robin McCoy, 38, of Gardendale, Ala. has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and

› Darnavious Hill, 24, of Lanett has been charged with the unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, theft of property, third degree, and bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, were reported on the 1200 block of 21st Street SW, and harassment was reported on the 600 block of North 17th Avenue.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Gartavious R. Jackson, 29, of Valley has been charged with two counts of failure to pay child support;

› Kimberly Anne Templeton, 38, of Lanett has been charged with four counts of FTA – possession of a controlled substance;

› Jesse James Ware, 59, of Lanett has been charged with violating the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act, or SORNA;

› William Owen Ray Jr., 47, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia.

There were 181 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Wednesday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Six people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Lacey White, 22, of West Point has been charged with FTA – traffic;

› Darnavious Hill, 24, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

› Angela Glover, 44, of Valley has been charged with burglary, third degree, theft of property, fourth degree, and public intoxication;

› Gartavious Jackson, 29, of Valley has been charged with two counts of bail jumping;

› Casey Hornsby, 25, of Lanett has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, and

› Quentina Nicole Lyons, 36, of Valley has been charged with FTA – traffic.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, property damage was reported near mile marker 77 on I-85 and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 3400 block of 20th Avenue.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — In incidents that were reported on Tuesday,  LaFayette police officers are investigating reports of criminal mischief, third degree, on Yeargan Drive, the unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, on 9th Avenue SW and criminal trespassing on Drake Avenue.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — In an incident being investigated by West Point police officers, criminal trespassing was reported on East 8th Street on Tuesday.
