Lanett reports

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to a Lanett Police Department report,

William Andrew DeLee, 34, of Lanett has been charged with rape, first degree.

In incidents that were reported to Lanett officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported in the 1800 block of South 1st Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported in the 3700 block of 42nd Avenue SW and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported in the 1500 block of North 4th Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Valley officers are investigating an incident of dogs being permitted to run at large on the 1900 block of 51st Street and the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Darius Spratling, 25, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer an improper passing charge, and

Steven Fulghum, 36, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with failure to pay – negotiating with a worthless negotiable instrument (bad check).

There were 173 inmates in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to a West Point Police Department report,

Asia Trammell of West Point has been charged with battery – Family Violence Act.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, fraud was reported on Spruce Street, forgery on East 10th Street, a theft on East 6th Street and someone making terroristic threats and acts at Abbey Glen Lane.

LaFayette  reports

LaFAYETTE — In incidents being investigated by the LaFayette Police Department, theft of property, fourth degree, and possession of a forged instrument were reported on 2nd Avenue NE, harassment and burglary, second degree, were reported at the Jenkins Apartments and robbery, first degree, reported on LaFayette Street North.
