LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Russell Emerson Snyder, 29, of Pine Mountain, Ga. has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and having a pistol in his vehicle, and

› John Abner, 57, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with probation violation, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree.

There were 163 inmates in the Chambers County jail Tuesday morning.
