Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports.

› Lew Jack Handley, 32, of LaFayette has been charged with theft of property, third degree;

› James Lee Pugh, 48, of Cusseta, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of the unlawful distribution of marijuana and failure to pay child support;

› Benjamin Battle, 47, of Wadley, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license;

› Jamie Alanna Stephens, 32, of LaFayette has been charged with theft of property, second degree, and

› Clayton Boyd Roberts, 31, has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree.

There were 165 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Brittany Lynn Flurry, 24, of Valley has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;

› Daniel Stephen Tomlinson, 33, of LaFayette has been charged with four counts of FTA – traffic, and

› Alexis Letrease Hill, 19, of Cusseta has been charged with harassment and criminal mischief.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 800 block of North 10th Street, breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of South 5th Avenue, breaking and entering a vehicle was reported on the 1500 block of Cherry Drive, theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1800 block of 49th Avenue SW, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on East 14th Street, breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Court, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 300 block of South 10th Avenue, and incidents of domestic violence, third degree, were reported on the 2200 block of 20th Avenue SW, the 1800 block of 68th Court SW and on the 400 block of South 1st Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› James Lee Pugh, 48, of Cusseta has been charged with FTA – traffic.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to a West Point Police Department rep0rt,

› Keymarious Malik Davidson of West Point has been charged with felony theft by taking.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — Officers with the LaFayette Police Department are investigating incidents of domestic violence, third degree, and harassment on 1st Avenue SW; both were reported on Wednesday.
