Chambers volleyball off to 2-1 start

LaFayette — The Rebels of the Chambers Academy volleyball team is off to a 2-1 start to the season after picking up wins against Lowndes and Cornerstone.
“It was fantastic,” Rebels head volleyball coach Jaylan Reynolds said after the 14-25, 25-22, 25-21 win over Cornerstone on Thursday evening. “We had girls getting to their spots, executing and I couldn’t be more proud.”
Britten Stephens had 19 digs, 15 kills and five aces on Thursday for the varsity squad. Bailey Allen had 18 digs, 11 kills and four aces. Audra Slay had 15 digs and four aces. The JV squad also won in straight sets on Thursday, 25-6 and 25-11.
