WAVERLY, Ala. — Mr. Arthur Louis Allen, 75, of Waverly died Sunday, August 12, 2018 in LaFayette.  Funeral  services will be held at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, LaFayette on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. CDT with Rev. Clarence Foster officiating.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 12 noon CDT until the funeral hour.  Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral home, Thursday, August 16, 2018 from noon until 6 p.m. CDT.

Mr. Allen is survived by three sons, Mack Andrew (Tena) Huguley, Arthur (Marquenta) Little and Michael O. Allen, all of Opelika; one brother, Donnie Allen, LaFayette; one sister, Shirley (Mitford) Bettis, College Park, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Brenda Beavers, Alexander City; one stepson, Earl Beavers, Camp Hill, Ala. and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
