VALLEY — Mr. Donald Dewberry, 66, a resident of Valley, Ala. passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Bethany House Hospice in Auburn.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3 p.m. EDT from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. Burial will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.

Survivors include his children, Daniel Dewberry (Wendy) and DeLana Ray (Chris); his brother, Ronald Dewberry (Linda); his sisters, Carroll Craven (Glenn) and Alice Bowen; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey J. and Virginia Dewberry, and a son, David Dewberry.

Mr. Dewberry was born on October 29, 1951 in LaFayette, Ala.  He retired from Dewberry Trucking.  He was an avid Alabama football fan and was of the Baptist faith.
