LANETT — A memorial service for Mr. Floyd Steven Saxon, 65, of Lanett, Ala. will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. EDT at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Ala.  with the Rev. Rusty Letson officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:15 a.m. EDT prior to the service.

Mr. Saxon went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 24, 2018 after a short stay at the Bethany House in Auburn, Ala.  He was previously a resident of Diversicare of Lanett.

Mr. Saxon was born May 19, 1953 and was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Saxon and step-father, Johnny Norred, and his mother, Doris Norred.

He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie E. Dunaway and Natalie Chester; two sisters, Gyda Simms and Angela Gail Saxon; one brother, Chuck Saxon; five grandchildren, Alisha, Steven, Raven, Trinity, and Gabrial; and one great-grandson.

Mr. Saxon loved his Lord, family, friends, and Alabama football!   He will be missed by all whose life he touched. May he Rest In Peace.
