LANETT — Harold Oliver “Dugan” Dobbins, a 68-year-old resident of Lanett, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, at EAMC-Lanier Hospital in Valley.

Mr. Dobbins was born Thursday, January 5, 1950, in Tallassee, Ala., the son of the late Ralph Oliver and Ruby Jones Dobbins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a dental technician. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and was a devoted University of Alabama fan.

Survivors include his brother, Johnny (Gail) Huerta; his uncle, Gerald Jones; his aunt, Betty Kimbrough, and several cousins.

Memorial services for Mr. Dobbins will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. EDT from Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett. The Rev. Eddie Striblin will officiate.
