Mr. Kim Wallace

WEST POINT — Mr. Kim Wallace, 57, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his residence. Kim was born July 21, 1961 in Langdale, AL.

Kim was a member of the Love Union Baptist Church,West Point, GA. He received his formal education in the West Point City School System. After graduating from high school, he continued his education by attending Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL.

Kim relocated to Chicago, IL in 1981,where he was employed by the Chicago Public Transportation Systems as a driver. He later worked in the field of Culinary Arts with some of the top restaurants in Chi-town. After residing for many years in Chicago, he relocated back to West Point to be closer to family and friends.

In 1983 her met and married Wanda Hicks and to this union three loving daughters were born. He enjoyed cooking, reading, watching the History Channel, game shows and telling jokes.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Wallace, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving, three devoted daughters, Natiniyah, Kymberly and Adrianna (Julius) Wallace, West Point GA; parents Mrs. Bobbie J. Wallace and Willie (Sarah) Wallace, West Point GA; grandchildren Ja’Niyah, Takayla, Zynika, Julius Jr., Alani, Julian and Kylie, West Point GA; four sisters Rita Ross, (Ellis) Copeland, Lakethceian Gilliam and Chantrice Gilliam , West Point GA.; two brothers, Jeffery (Audrey) Wallace and Tony Gilliam; a special friend, Clara Davidson, West Point, GA; devoted cousin, Lent Johnson; nephew, Larry Ross and a devoted neighbor, Momma Nancy and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Wallace will be held at 1:00 p.m. ET, Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point, GA with the Dr. W. T. Edmondson, Pastor, Pastor Mary Alice Johnson, Eulogist, Rev. Rodell Poole, Presiding, Rev. James Jackson, Assisting. Interment will follow in the Marseilles Cemetery.
