LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Denise Lashaun Maddox, 31, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with domestic violence, third degree – reckless endangerment and domestic violence. third degree – harassment, and

› Christopher Dewayne Brewer, 42, of Opelika has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of possession/receiving a controlled substance, FTA – drug paraphernalia and FTA – driving with a suspended license.

There were 163 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Wednesday morning.
