Lanett reports

LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

›  Maria Meriwether, 32, of LaFayette has been charged with bail jumping.

In incidents that are being investigated by Lanett police, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue, theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 3000 block of South Phillips Road, theft of property, third degree, was reported in the 3500 block of 43rd Street SW and harassment was reported on the 700 block of South 13th Street.

Sheriff’s reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday.

According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Karl Ethan Scott, 54, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay for theft of property, third degree;

› Sandra Kay Gaspard, 50, of Newnan, Ga. has been charged with harassment, and

› Kevin Lee Lashley, 19, of LaFayette has been charged with harassment.

There were 152 inmates in the Chambers County jail Friday morning.
